Digital healthcare provider Hinge Health has reached a definitive agreement to buy Cylinder Health, a virtual-first digestive care company, for $105 million. The announcement came on August 4, 2026, marking a significant step in Hinge Health's expansion beyond its core musculoskeletal focus.

Cylinder Health operates a platform that connects patients with gastroenterologists and dietitians for conditions like irritable bowel syndrome, acid reflux, and other chronic digestive issues. The company has built a reputation for combining clinical care with behavioral health support, a model that Hinge Health plans to integrate into its existing offerings.
